For those of you who did not know of Alexander McQueen while he was alive, please let me tell you about this amazing designer.

Alexander McQueen was the youngest of six children.  He was trained tailoring in Savile Row, and in 1994 Mcqueen enrolled in London’s Central Saint Martins fashion school. In 1996 he was named head designer at Givenchy, before joing with Gucci.  During his career he won many accolades, including being names International Designer of the Year.  He was also name British Designer of the year four times between 1996 and 2003.

Alexander was know for his exquisite, couture-quality gowns and over the top theatrical fashion presentations, with fashionable stars such as Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katie Holmes often wearing his clothes on the red carpet.

Mcqueen was expexted to present his lastest collection in Fashion Week in Paris on March 9, and McQ at New York Fashion Week on Thursday afternoon, but the event was canceled.  To our dismay, McQueen’s death was announced on February 11, 2010.

Try using Sebastian Whipped Creme when blowing out your hair, for soft, smooth, curls.  Use a small hand-full apply evenly through the hair, comb your hair out, and then section your hair for blow drying.  Blow dry with a round brush.  Then spray with Sebastian’s Reshaper hairspray.  Finger through the hair with your hands for more movement.

If you have natural curl and want to diffuse it, try using Sebastian’s Whipped Cream, mixed with Sebastian Potion number 9.  Use a palm full of Whipped Cream, and two pumps of Potion number 9 evenly spread through hair, comb out your hair and then diffuse on a low setting with high heat.  Be sure to dry the hair completely.

Wanting more shine in your hair?  Try coming in and getting a relites, to refresh old hilites,  or get a cellophanes, a non-chemical protein treatment for the hair that lasts 4-6 weeks.  Shiny hair is healthy hair!
